For one of our clients we are now looking for a Project Engineer – Feasibility Study (Autoclave Installation)
Scope of Work Lead the feasibility study for the installation of a new autoclave/sterilizer system at our manufacturing site.
The assignment covers technical, operational, and financial assessment to define the project scope, budget, and readiness for execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Define User and Process Requirements for the new autoclave.
· Assess facility and utility readiness (steam, water, HVAC, power, layout).
· Coordinate with equipment suppliers for technical input and quotations.
· Evaluate installation constraints and compliance with GMP and ISO 13485.
· Develop preliminary project schedule, cost estimate, and risk assessment.
· Prepare a feasibility report with recommendations for next phase.
Qualifications
· Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial).
· 5+ years experience in equipment/facility projects in pharma or medtech.
· Familiar with autoclaves or sterilization systems and validation principles (IQ/OQ/PQ).
· Strong understanding of GMP and utilities (clean steam, WFI, etc.).
· Skilled in project coordination and technical documentation.
· Fluent in English; Swedish beneficial.
Deliverables
· Feasibility report with recommended option, cost, and timeline
· URS for facility adaptations/modifications
· URS for autoclave
· Quotes for facility adaptations and autoclave.
· Resource estimate for project execution.
