Business Intelligence Analyst, Nordics and Baltics, Ipsen

As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will provide data and visualization support for our brand teams in order for us to make good business decisions. You will act in the space between business and controlling. The role provides decision support for strategy development, execution and execution follow-up. You will collaborate closely with the whole organization, but primarily the customer facing teams. The work you do allows prioritization of activities and ensures we do actions with the highest impact. You will support in business decision making from an analytical point of view and pro-actively lead data collection and modeling, determine what insights the business needs to collect to answer business critical questions.

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Drive optimization of Business Insight by developing databases, dashboards and reports
  • Assess and provide analysis that meets specific needs
    • Continually improve KPI dashboards which enable performance
    •  In collaboration with SFE and Brand Managers assess identify opportunities
    •  Provide useful and meaningful reports and customer insights
    • Provide solutions to database and reporting challenge
    • Deliver key milestones and tracking of business objective
  • Develop the capability of Business Insight
  • Maintain high quality data governance to increase agility and competitive advantage, leading to valued business intelligence.
  • Sales Forecast
  • Sales force Effectiveness
    • Ensure the effective use of sales team CRM system locally and that the system is fit for purpose and of value to the business
    • Ensure there is a strong patient and customer focus to all SFE activities
    • In collaboration with BU Heads assess and identify SFE needs and opportunities
    • Provide useful and meaningful activity reports and customer insights
    • Support the implementation and monitoring of the sales force incentive scheme
  • Adhoc projects

Experience / Qualifications
• Proven project management skills, developing and building data warehouse solutions
• Experience in using PowerBI reporting system, building adhoc reports and maintaining automated reports
• Knowledge of TM1 financial system
• Experience in prior forecasting, commercial analytics or business analysis experience within the pharmaceutical industry (or as a Consultant)
• Proven track record of performing complex statistical analysis that leads to actionable information; making sound business decisions to support overall strategy
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in using an automated reporting system, maintaining a reporting suite
• Experience using a CRM system (Veeva ideally)
• Understanding of IQVIA data
•Good knowledge of pharmaceutical sales channels (ex-factory, in-market)

• Solid problem solving and project management skills
